“Organized by the Institut Français du Cameroon in partnership with the Route des Cheeries and the Cameroonian Embassy in France, Focus Cameroon has become a renowned showcase for Cameroonian culture over the past few years. This year, digi- tal art took center stage. My individual augmented reality exhibition, ‘La Colère du Mont Cameroun,’ and an immersive 360° VR experience (video mapping) to which I contributed, brought this to life. This video mapping was co-produced with XR pro- ducer Michael Swierczysnski.
I had the privilege of presenting my works to the French public and the Cameroonian diaspora. Hosted by the Théâtre de la Ville de Paris, La Halle tropisme, the Francopho- nie Festival ‘Refaire le Monde,’ France Médias Monde, and Focus Cameroon 3, the third edition of this event took place from May 29th to June 2nd in Paris and June 6th and 7th in Montpellier.
Focus Cameroon 3 also provided me with the opportunity to showcase my work as a crypto artist in the collective exhibition ‘Crypto Genesis (Opus1),’ alongside other Cameroonian artists such as Yvon Ngassam, Boris Nzebo, Boujeka Kamto, and other artists from the ‘Correspondances’ project directed by Ox4rt.”
